MISSIONS

Ross Trumble:

Ross is the founding pastor of the Grace Baptist Fellowship in Parkes, New South Wales, Australia, where he has lived with his wife and five children since 1999. Grace Baptist Fellowship is a church plant endeavour sent forth from Evangel Baptist Church in Dale City, Virginia. The Lord has faithfully, over the years, added to the mission work in Parkes; there is much hope that this church plant will soon be an autonomous New Testament church.

In addition to pastoring for nine years, he has served the Lord as a school teacher, lay preacher, deacon, and Sunday School teacher.

Yangmi Luithui & Shimreignam Rasan:

Yangmi and Shimreignam are pastors of two churches in the Indian province of Manipur (a region of India known for strife and political instability). Both these men are Nagas, one of the indigenous tribes of the area. Nagas are historically a very Christian people group; 80% of Nagas are said to be "evangelical". While both these pastors have a fair sized church membership, the financial situation, like the political situation in the region, is precarious at best.

picBaptist Children's Home:

Baptist Children's Home was called into existence in 1955 by churches seeking assistance in caring for families and children. BCH, according to the biblical mandate in James 1:27 to "Care for the Fatherless", answered this call and today cares for more than 1000 children in the United States, India, Southeast Asia and Liberia.

BCH provides hope through group home and foster home care for children, Christian family and/or personal counseling, family life conferences, adoptive services and care for pre-born children. In short, if it affects the family, BCH is there to help.
