WEEKLY PRAYER MEETING Our Tuesday night meeting is a time of fellowship for members and guests. Together we praise the Lord with singing, prayer and a devotional time in Scripture. Currently, we are using a devotional book by John M. Sinclair titled “A Closer Walk With God”.
WEEKLY PATCH THE PIRATE BIBLE CLUB On Tuesday evenings, in tandem with the weekly prayer meeting, children ages five to twelve are invited to join Captain Sin Nombre and Navigator Mimi aboard the Jolly Roger. Children are learning about godly character through scripture memorization, singing, music lessons, crafts and Bible lessons.
OPEN-AIR
EVANGELISM As
the Lord wills and gives us ability, we faithfully and regularly preach
the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ in the open-air: in the
marketplaces, on street corners and at special public events. We
believe it is the responsibility of every saint to share the Gospel
with anyone and everyone since our Lord Jesus Christ’s Great
Commission
clearly commands us all to: “Go ye into all the world, and
preach the
gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15)
We
preach the Gospel to the unconverted in a Biblical manner, that is,
much like the apostles Peter and Paul did in the book of Acts. We
command men and women to repent of their sins and to trust the Lord
Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. We believe the Gospel message
of our lost state, the Lord Jesus’ substitutionary sacrifice
and
salvation through faith is to be preached and taught without
alteration. We also believe that the manner by which this Gospel is
preached and taught should be in-line with the New Testament examples
in God’s Word.
Under our "Resources" menu we have a series of links where the Bible tracts we use in our evangelism can be downloaded. All files are in pdf format and may be freely downloaded, printed, and re-distributed.
